Carrot Cake Bliss Balls

I absolutely adore carrot cake, the spices are delicious and remind me of Christmas Time. The carrot cake bliss balls give you everything regular carrot cake would, except in a delicious small ball that you can snack on throughout the day. They make a amazing snack with cup of tea after dinner, or with your mid morning coffee! 

They are gluten free, dairy free, vegan and diabetic friendly, making them an amazing snack food for your blood sugar levels and for all those with allergens.  


Carrot Cake Bliss Balls


1/2 cup of almonds

1/2 cup of dates, soaked for 4 hours or overnight

1/2 cup of cashew nuts

1/2 tsp clove powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 cup of grated carrot (1 medium carrot) 

3/4 cup of almond meal

desicated coconut for coating


1. Place all ingredients into a food processor. Mix until well combined.  

2. Roll into the size that you wish, best is 1 1/2 tsp of mixture

3. After rolling into ball, pop dedicated coconut into a bowl and roll the bliss balls through to coat them in coconut.  

4. Best stored in the fridge in a seal proof container.
